How will this course support my future plans?
A level Biology is a flexible option which sits well with many other subjects. In particular co- study with Chemistry is advantageous and there is overlap with Geography and Psychology. As the course requires extended writing and mathematical competence good GCSE in English and Maths are essential.
The course provides an opportunity for a broad base of Biological studies which provides an excellent opportunity to branch in many directions for further studies, such as Forensic science, Conservation, Toxicologist, geneticist, Environmental Consultants and an array of Healthcare Professions such as Medicine, Paramedic, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Nursing etc.
