This was not the result that our players were hoping for, but what a fantastic achievement to get to the final. The competition began with 28 other schools across Bradford and Bingley had a great run into the final.

The final played at UAK school was much closer than what the score suggests. Bingley took the lead early in the game with a well taken finish from centre forward and top scorer Ben Lister. Beckfoot came back into the game with two goals before half term and then added another early in the second half to make it 3-1. Bingley fought hard and competed throughout the game and Alfie Greenwood scored from the penalty spot to make it 3-2 with five minutes remaining. Pushing for the equaliser with only a few minutes left, Beckfoot broke away and scored the fourth to make it 4-2 on the night.

Our players can feel proud with this great achievement. They have developed and progressed as a team through the season and have performed to a very high standard in most games.
