Yr 8 Boys Quarter Final

Yr 8 Quarter-Final Victory. Semi-final beckons

Mr Wilson reports,

These boys were involved in a crazy quarter-final cup game last night, against Beckfoot Thornton. We were 5:1 up at half time and 6:2 up with 20 minutes to go. In the last 20 minutes, the boys lost focus and concentration but we managed to scrape home in the end with a 6-5 victory!!

Please congratulate them if you see them in school tomorrow. We look forward to the semi-final cup game in a few weeks time.

Every year group in the school has made it through to the Cup quarter-finals by finishing top, or second in each regional league. Well done Mr. Abass, and Mr Bridge Jnr. for guiding the Year 9s, 10s and 11s to the same stage. We look forward to watching each team's progress in the coming week. Next up are my Year 7 team, who are at home On Tuesday 7th March (if anyone would like to come out and watch the Year 7 dream team). Marching on Together Bingley Grammar!!!!
