Yule Log Baking Competition

Before the Christmas break, Mrs Wilkinson and the Food Science department set our students a festive challenge.

Mrs Wilkinson writes,

Every Christmas we set our students a festive challenge which aims to extend their practical skills and make something a little special and out of the ordinary - this year was no different!

I asked students to make a festive Yule Log. I was so pleased with the amount of students who entered. All finalists will receive a LORIC certificate and postcard for being in the final.

Well done to the finalists and winners, I am so proud of your efforts. 

We offer lots of after school activities and challenges throughout the year where students can develop their cookery skills in a creative way, keep a look out for the next one!
