Bingley Grammar School

Our Sixth Form Team comprises of the following invaluable staff members:

Mr Moore (AHT, Head of Sixth Form): Mr Moore’s subject areas for teaching are English Language and Literature, but his main role is presiding over Year 12 and Year 13, ensuring their journey through their KS5 studies is as smooth and successful as possible. He is also centrally responsible for the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). He is always there to answer any questions you might have about Sixth Form.

Mrs Booth, Sixth Form Coordinator: Mrs Booth oversees all things UCAS – if you have a problem or query to do with higher education, she will have the answer! Mrs Booth has a lot to do with Year 13 in the university application process, but she also deals with the Sixth Form application process, so she is the person to see if you are a Year 11 student hoping to join the Sixth Form.

Mr Brown, Deputy Head of Sixth Form: Mr Brown’s subject areas for teaching are all things scientific, with a specialism in Biology. He is on hand to ensure the smooth running of all areas of Sixth Form life and is always happy to deal with queries and issues that may arise throughout your studies.

Mrs Bradley, Pastoral Lead in Sixth Form: Mrs Bradley is here to help you through any issues you may have stepping up from GCSE to life in Sixth Form, including any personal concerns. She also makes sure that we are making the most of the study and lesson time we have at school.

Mrs Durrans, Careers Officer (not pictured): Mrs Durrans is our Careers Advisor across the school but closely links her advice with Sixth Form. She is also the person to see regarding our work experience programme.
